Tell us about yourself!
Hi! I'm Julia (Julez) and I've been freelance modeling for about 2 years now! I started my journey in my hometown, Las Vegas, and moved to LA after I left my old manager. Starting out, it was really tough for me because the person I allowed to guide me never had my best interest in mind. I developed really bad body dysmorphia, I was being separated from my closest friends and family, and I was being manipulated into thinking that I was not going to be able to pursue my dream and become successful without her guidance. After parting ways with her, I've overcame so many personal battles and I can genuinely say I'm extremely proud of my progress! Modeling is never easy, and the best thing I could EVER say to anyone starting is to believe in yourself and trust yourself because at the end of the day, YOU are the only one that can make your dreams come to fruition!

What inspired you to pursue your current creative path?

I remember when I was 6 years old, my cousin and I were watching the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on my grandma's computer and something about it really drew me in. Ever since then, I knew I wanted to pursue modeling! Coco Rocha is also a big inspiration of mine who motivates me to continue to push myself and perfect my craft. Seeing the way she turns herself into an art form and is able to express so many different emotions is truly amazing.

How did you find out about TGS?
I found out through one of my friends! Shout out to Haley Hudson!

Why did you decide to join TGS?

I joined TGS because when I first moved to LA, I had no idea where to start. My portfolio was so small, I barley knew anyone, and I really wanted to surround myself with fellow creatives. Alex and the TGS team has been absolutely amazing in helping me and introducing me to new people. Because of TGS, I've done 3 publication shoots, a ton of paid gigs, and have felt like I finally found a place where I belong! I could not thank Alex and the team enough!

Where do you draw your inspiration from?

I draw my inspiration from every day life! I'll see a location or an outfit and instantly think of inspiration for a shoot. Your surroundings are the perfect place to flow your creative juices!

Fave aesthetic, look or theme when shooting?

My ALL TIME FAV aesthetic when shooting is natural nature shots! I think it's so beautiful and raw and I feel so beautiful, confident, and grounded.

Do you have creative friends you like to meetup and brainstorm with?

Yes! My best friend, Drew, is someone I always bounce my ideas off of. She's amazing!

Most interesting story revolving around your creative medium?

My most interesting story would definitely be NYFW! It was such an amazing experience and it was something I've dreamed about for so long. New York just makes me feel some typa way!!
