Tell me about yourself?

I was born on March 21, 1990 in Mexico and moved to Chicago when I was a baby. I am the beginning day of the Aries zodiac which says a lot about my personality in general. I went to college at the University of Illinois in Champaign where I majored in Psychology and minored in Communications. I went to law school at John Marshall in Chicago where I graduated in 2015. I’d love to eventually go back to school and get a Ph.D in Psychology. I’m a Star Wars and comic book hero nerd. Red wine is my blood type. ❤️

How did you get into modeling?

I actually started modeling because of a friend in college! My friend Sarah was a photography major and asked me if I would help her on a project one day. That day turned into her using me repeatedly for a number of her projects and me taking up most of her senior art show by the end of college. Then it progressed into more people asking me to shoot and then I moved to LA in 2015 where an agent found me on a Facebook group. I sent her over what I had as far as pictures went and was signed two weeks later.

How did you find out about Tgs?

I had been stalking Alex for quite some time after she continuously popped up on my friend Jethro’s page. I then learned she had started the collective and figured there was no harm in applying. Here we are now!

Why’d you join?

I liked what the collective stood for. Alex had a great vibe to her and I loved that it didn’t feel cliquey. It was about creatives getting to collaborate with each other and a great way to meet new people.

Where do you get your inspiration from?

Honestly, whatever is going on in my life at the moment is usually my biggest inspiration. It helps to draw directly from emotion for me when I’m shooting. So I usually bring whatever I’m feeling into the shot. I also like to ask the photographer what vibe they are going for because then I can get into character based off what they’re looking for. Audrey Hepburn is my ultimate muse though.

Favorite 'asthetic', theme, or look when shooting?

Moody always (haha). Anyone who has shot with me knows they’re going to get a lot of mood and a whole lot of sass - in the nicest way possible obviously.

Do you have other creative friends you like to meet up with / brainstorm  with?

I usually befriend all the photographers I shoot with. It’s really hard for me to not fall in love with someone’s vibe and want to keep hanging out. But you’ll usually see me with Matison Card, Jethro Alaba or Jon Cruz — if everyone is in the city at the same time we usually end up brainstorming over massive amounts of food.

Random stuff about you?

I’m an adrenaline junkie — I have skydived and bungee jumped. I’m deathly afraid of snakes. I can be easily manipulated by anyone who gives me double stuffed Oreos. I have a feeling that I had a past life in ancient Egypt — I’m mildly obsessed with The Mummy movies. Legally Blonde is the reason I wanted to become a lawyer.

Most interesting story revolving around modeling?

I wish I had something cool to say here like we got arrested for trespassing but I’m apparently not cool enough. Must. Get. In. Trouble.
