TGS Partners with Vegan Resort Wear

In a sea of literally thousands of brands, it can be tough to know who to work with. There are so many factors we try to consider when taking on new partners - is the quality of the product good, do they have an aligned message, are they open minded and want to work as a team?

That’s why we were head over heels when Vegan Resort Wear came into our lives – the cutest, sustainable fashion brand with a badass message. One glimpse at their website and it’s pretty clear how they are standing out in the market.

The founder, Edina, is as passionate about traveling the world as she is conserving it, so she set out to make versatile, lightweight pieces that could be easily mixed and matched for the minimalistic, practical fashionista. AKA a godsend for our girls that recently trekked to Hawaii.

All of Vegan Resort Wear’s clothing is produced ethically in New York using the most conservation friendly practices in the market. Every detail of the garments are meant to reduce the fashion industries massive ecology footprint. This includes shipment, packaging and even the way they market their brand.

With the fashion industry being a huge contributor to global waste and harmful practices, it’s really refreshing to see an emerging brand do their part and take a stand. And even though slow fashion brands like VRW can’t compete with the prices offered in most fast-fashion companies, they more than make up for it in quality. Every article from Vegan Resort Wear is made with high quality linen sourced from European Mills making the products more durable than other commonly used fibers – like cotton and fiber blends. Linen also requires less water to create, meaning there is little to no waste at the end of the day. Killer fashion without killer practices? Sign us up!

However, the real cherry on top is that Vegan Resort Wear is truly ethical from the inside out. Not only do they give their employees an above average pay and flexible hours, they also donate proceeds of their profits to partners like Born Again Pet Shelter and Debris Free Ocean Organization.

We were so excited and proud to rep this rad team when we we’re out in Hawaii and can’t wait to see what staple items they come out with next! Want to learn more about Vegan Resort Wear? Check out their Website page here…and maybe have your credit card handy too.
