TGS Takes on NYC with our Dream Team
New York City - the place with the best pizza, graffiti murals and fellow creatives!
We had a such an amazing time creating with our fellow NYC fam last week and ended up hosting not one, but TWO meetups since we had so many people eager to get the wheels turning with our creative team.
We hosted our first meetup in a rustic, funky loft located in Bushwick that gave us all the cozy vibes. The space was nothing short of magical and had the perfect amount of room to allow everyone to create at the same time without getting repetitive. The energy in the room from all our creatives was vibing so well and we can easily put this on the list of most fun meetups we’ve ever done.
Though we all show up to these events to put our creative hats on, get to work, pump out cool photos, test ourselves as models, photographers, etc…it’s always is such a great feeling when people also get the chance to talk, connect and bond over our love for art and yummy snacks.
Overall, we all had a great chance to connect on another level, learn more about each other and what were all currently working on, and we even added some new faces to the collective!
Our second meetup was hosted in Long Island City at a cute, fresh store front space. It was the perfect balance between minimalistic and artsy.
The time slots we’re an hour long making it short, sweet and to the point. We tried to frame this event as a combination of a chance to network, hang out but also get some shots in a clean space.
It was so nice to be able to sit down and talk about TGS, Archive (our print magazine), MORE Agency and just what being a member of our collective means. Since meetups get so crazy and are usually focusing on creating, people aren’t always able to get the information they want to join our amazing family! We loved getting face time with everyone, catching up on what’s important in everyone’s lives and sharing how we can all help each other in this crazy, creative world.
