Back in Sonora, CA is where my love for fashion and collaboration began. One of my biggest mentors, Sarah Gordon, opened a spray tanning salon / boutique in my sleepy little town, and as a Junior/Senior in high school I immediately took notice and decided to make this boss lady my gal pal! She had me modeling for her, helping out at the shop, standing as a "mannequin" in her windows during the Christmas parade, and she allowed me to co-host her Second Annual Skin Cancer Awareness fashion show where I collaborated with models, vendors, companies for donations, etc. - this was the flame that sparked my love for collaboration and fashion! Some 6+ years later this woman still holds a very special place in my heart and when I came back into town for the holidays & for some test shoots with potential TGS members, I knew I had to reach out and see if I could do a pull for our shoot! Sarah gave me the green light, and here is some of the magic that we created with (now TGS team members) Cassie Herrera and Tim Gillespie! We shot all over the county that I grew up in for 18 years, and both Cassie and Tim I met while in high school so it was fun being able to plug back into my roots for this hometown project!
