Friday Night's in Orange

Daren James and I had talked about shooting for months over IG.... then we finally got together to make some magic! This guy, first of all, is the sweetest and funniest guy you'll ever meet - no awkwardness, no weird sketchy vibes, just a good down to earth dude who really knows how to take some dope pics!

I did a wardrobe pull from one of my favorites, Goldies, and we walked around Orange, danced around in the downtown lights, and sipped a latte in between outfit changes! If anyone is looking to collaborate with a super rad Riverside based photographer - HIT HIM UP! 

So I headed back to Long Beach to return all of the beautiful clothes to Goldies, and as I'm walking back to my car I'm suddenly drawn into this random little vintage shop on 4th Street (Retro Row). Towards the back there was a HUGE room full of records. I'm talking thousands of records. I look over to the corner and this name jumped out at me: JAMES DARREN. 

Now, any other day I wouldn't have paid this any mind.... except today, literally less than an hour ago, I was shooting with Daren James.... WEIRD AM I RIGHT?

Some things happen for a reason, so I grabbed the record, bought it, and wrapped it up as a Birthday/Christmas combo gift, because sometimes the world gives you signs... you just need to keep your eyes open long enough to see them.
