Tell me about yourself

Hey!! I'm Alexandra Giselle (or Alex for short) and I am a professional Model, signed with MORE Agency, and am also a professional Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist who has been working in the Entertainment Industry for the last 10 years. I absolutely ADORE being on set and being fully involved in the creative process. There's nothing else like creating that type of magic!!

What made you want to start modeling?

Modeling totally happened to me by chance. I was scouted at a local mall, and signed with my first Agency at the age of 8, for their commercial and print division. I took a bit a of break in high school to allow myself to flourish in other areas of the arts, so that over time, I could integrate the knowledge I had acquired back into modeling. I believe it's helped and served me immensely!

How did you find out about TGS?

I was contacted by our amazing Alex Morehouse, a few years back when TGS was first getting started. I instantly felt connected to her, and the collective. To say that the last few years of have been full of immeasurable growth would be an understatement, TGS has been more than just a collective, it's become my family.

Why did you join TGS?

I wanted the chance to be part of not just another "collective" of talent, but to truly be among artists who constantly lift each other up and cheer each other on. That's exactly what TGS is about.

Where do you get your inspo?

EVERYWHERE. Literally. (Like, triple stampies- no take-backs.)  Books. Poetry. Movies. Plays. Music. Fashion Magazines. Photography. Paintings. Museums. Pretty much EVERYTHING in the Arts inspires me. I mean, it's Art. It's life.

Fave aesthetic, look or theme when shooting?

A lot of my Makeup and Hair work is very Editorial and High Fashion and I love it!! There's a certain poetry that speaks to me in that of imagery. And I hope I to reflect that in my work!

Do you have other creative friends you like to meetup with and brainstorm?

Absolutely!! Anytime I get to brainstorm with a fellow creative, the magic just always tends to flow through.

Most interesting story revolving around modeling

I was scheduled to be the key Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist for an Editorial. It was a styled wedding shoot specifically, so there were tons of major vendors involved, not to mention this was going out for Publication. About an hour after call the time, the original Model who was supposed to be our Bride, had finally called to say that she had some sort personal crisis and was not going to make the photo shoot. Meanwhile everything had already been prepped. The Art Director of the shoot was scrambling to find another Model when she looked at me, and said, "WTF is wrong with me!? ALEX!!! Get ready ASAP you're our new Bride!!!" The Editorial ended up getting picked up by several Wedding Blogs and Magazines.

Random stuff about you

I look like a real life cartoon. MEME's are the essence of my soul. Pizza and Slurpee's fix everything. Disneyland is my life. Nick Miller from "New Girl" is my spirit animal. Star Wars and Indiana Jones  forever.
