Tell us about yourself!
I’m Toria, I’m from Pennsylvania and I just turned 21! I was always the wildcard in my family of doctors and teachers. If they were to describe me in three words it would probably be rebellious, adventurous and bold. My mom raised me to be very curious and she made sure I was well traveled which definitely made me want a career path where I can travel a lot. I’ve always known I wanted to be in the entertainment industry in one way or another - whether that be modeling/acting or something more behind the scenes. I started modeling when I was 13 in NYC and gained a lot of knowledge and experience from that. I took a break from modeling for a couple years though to finish high school but as soon as I did, I was on to my next move. Most of my family wasn’t too stoked when I moved to LA after graduation but I knew staying in Pennsylvania wasn’t what was best for me. I’m so blessed to be where I am & experience all that I have here in LA - I don’t see myself leaving any time soon. I guess I’m still figuring out exactly what I want to do with the rest of my life but I’m taking it one day at a time & having a hell of a good time on the journey!

What inspired you to pursue your current creative path?
Like I said, Ive always known I wanted to pursue something creative (& I’m still figuring out exactly what that will be) but for now I’m mostly focusing on modeling and acting. I feel like being a creative, you have the ability to travel to new places and experience so much of the world which has always been a goal of mine. I think it’s also always just been about having a vision in my head and wanting to bring it to life. I have a super active & vivid imagination so it’s always been fun for me to try to bring it into reality - whether it was me as a kid drawing, scrapbooking, styling & posing my dolls and taking photos of them (lol) etc. or me now coming up with concepts for shoots, styling myself, doing my own makeup and creative directing

How did you find out about TGS?
My friend Katie hooked me up with Alex way back in 2017 before TGS “officially” launched. (I was actually in their launch party video) The first day I met Alex, we spent all day shooting and had a lot of fun - & the rest is history!

Why did you decide to join TGS?
I really liked the community aspect and had already met so many amazing people in just the first month through TGS. Who wouldn’t love having a group of creatives to collaborate and share ideas with?? I could also see how much passion and drive Alex has for TGS & I believed in her (still do!)

Where do you draw your inspiration from?
Instagram is definitely a huge source of inspiration - I have a ton of different concept boards in my saved posts. I also use Pinterest and Tumblr sometimes but a lot of times, I’ll just see a certain concept in my head & get inspired by that. As for career inspiration, I’ve always loved Gisele Bündchen and my current inspo is Camille Kostek. My travel inspiration also comes a lot from Instagram and my mom!

Fave aesthetic, look or theme when shooting?
I think it’s pretty obvious based on my instagram but I looove a good beach aesthetic. I’m all about bright colors - blues, white, pink, green, etc. Also anything with flowers or tropical plants. Basically anything beachy, light, or girly. I also love a good Parisian vibe but that’s a little harder to find in LA

Do you have creative friends you like to meetup and brainstorm with?
I will admit I need to do more of this but I definitely do have people to brainstorm with! I think that’s essential as a creative

Most interesting story revolving around your creative medium?
When I was 14 I had an audition in NYC for a short film by Canon. I did absolutely terrible - had a breakdown, considered quitting acting forever, thought I sucked at everything etc etc. Anyway, 7 years later and I work with Canon regularly. I guess it’s not much of a story but more of a lesson to not let one bad audition/shoot/whatever discourage you because you never know where you’ll be or who you’ll be working with years from now.

Random stuff about you?
So my roommate always makes fun of me because I love eating cereal as a late night snack but I always put a bunch of honey and peanut butter in it. Not sure if that’s super gross but don’t knock it til ya try it! (Also) I’m a really jumpy person, it’s super easy to scare me so I absolutely do NOT do scary movies. I can’t even remember the last time I watched one. Back when Insidious came out, I went to the cinema to see it and I was shaking sooo bad the guy I was with had to keep asking me if I was okay lol. Okay last one - idk if I’m allowed to say this but I love getting really stoned and watching Planet Earth or some documentary about space or foreign countries or something. Really makes u think & definitely puts things into perspective.
